What We Offer Home inspections are conducted in accordance with the ASHI@ ''Standards of Practice" and the "Connecticut Home Inspection Standards of Practice.'' Below are listed some of the areas included: Structure & Foundation Roof covering and framing Central heating system Plumbing system Electrical system Water supply system A termite inspection and septic test (when appropriate) are included in the basic inspection cost. The home inspection fee depends on the size and age of the home. Water and radon testing are optional services that carry separate fees. Condominiums begin at $225. Houses begin at $400. Homes larger than 2000 sq. ft. or more than 50 yrs. old are quoted on an individual basis. State standard well water testing -- $100 Radon-in-air testing -- $100 Cash, check, or major credit cards accepted at the time of the inspection.
